Being a kid is the best part of everybody’s life. Nothing to worry about and there is not much to think about; you just play, laugh, have fun and do stupid things to make your parents laugh, smile or even to annoy them – that is what kids do best, right? And when bad luck hits their day, just a piece of sweet candy will already make up for it that after few minutes, everything is now perfectly fine – and that is how easy the life of being a child. Imagine heartache could be healed by a piece of candy?? Now I get it why my mom kept on telling me to not hurry and to just enjoy life; because the thing is, life cannot bring back anything that has passed. It keeps on moving on whether you want it or not. Thus, the only thing that we can do is to reminisce and do our own throwback Thursday posts – nothing beats the nostalgic feeling of remembering the happy days that you miss the most, right? So let me give you one thing that I know you miss and regret for not taking advantage of it while you were young: wearing all the cutest clothes you see in your closet or even in the mall.

Dresses in pastels are one of the charming clothes that will certainly grab the attention of most girls. Many ways could make this color look more fashionable, but a pastel dress with collar is definitely a scene-stealer – just think of Emma Stone. However, this kind of ensemble is somehow creating a bit of challenge to some, especially to those who think that it is too juvenile – but not when you are petite.
No matter how young petites style themselves, it always ends up looking cute and chic. That was why, this dress still suited me even that I am a teenager no more. With black blazer that has sparkling accents and classic details, it resulted to an appealing outcome.
Also, this sling bag gave a classy touch through its gold chain strap yet maintained the cuteness of the get-up through its ribbon and pink accentuation. Hence, it already became my accessory, which made the ensemble look simple yet elegant.
If you want to switch the style into a mature piece, sport a suit that is either plain or printed – just remember to be playful in mixing and matching!
On the other hand, shoes give great impact to an outfit. So opting to pair the color of my shoes with my dress made the outfit look more fun and appealing especially that I am wearing a catchy shade. While sticking to muted shoes is also fine for those who want to keep the colors minimal.
So what do you think of this outfit? Share with me your most playful ensemble!

Speaking of being playful, once in a while, it is fun and satisfying to be a kid again; because being a kid is what most of us want to be again. Thus, experiencing that frolic feeling was what Kenny Rogers aimed as it brought back one of its best creations: Kenny Rogers’ Garlic Butter Chicken. Because of this, its comeback was celebrated at Kenny Rogers Sky Ranch Tagaytay City where a barrel of fun activities welcomed us.
The mix of the taste of butter and the twist of garlic made the chicken one of a kind. And of course, the juiciness of Kenny Rogers’ Chicken completed the whole experience. Also, eating it together with side dishes and muffins was really delectable.
Kenny Rogers’ Garlic Butter Chicken can be ordered in Plate or Group meal. Garlic Butter Chicken Plate consists of a Quarter Garlic Butter Chicken, two (2) regular sides, one (1) muffin and one (1) cup of rice for Php 235 per serving. While Garlic Butter Chicken Group Meal consists of one (1) whole Garlic Butter Chicken, four (4) regular sides, four (4) cups of rice and muffins for Php 770.
After having a delightful lunch, we headed straight to Sky Ranch.
What was the craziest ride of all? The Super Viking ride was the most memorable one! And the funny thing was, after the ride we were dizzy and needed to have some hot soup, which led us to a Bulalo restaurant near the area. But the day ended well and happily!
