The moment when the wind blows cold and the weather remains calm and algid, sweater and socks are everyone’s best buddies. With the usual companion of jeans, joggers or pants, the day will start and end comfortably and conveniently, which are actually the main goal of the outfit. On the other hand, for the different touch, skirt is the flawless remedy.
This was one of the outfits I wore when we went in Baguio last month. The weather was cold but not chilly, so I opted to pair my leather skirt with my UNIQLO Heattech Fleece sweater and just sported a pair of high socks to make up for the cool weather.
If you wish to have a more feminine style, pulling off a jumper skirt is also a great idea; high socks will still fit the style but black tights will create a chicer look. For the shoes, sneakers are the perfect shoes to sport especially if you are out to hit the road, but if you found a cozy pair of flats then you are also good to go!
This composition and the one that I mentioned for another twist of styling are both great for petites, as long as the length of the skirt is above the knee. Also, make sure to wear the right fit and size to prevent looking smaller.
On the different note, accompanying this outfit with sling bag is a great deal as well especially when on the go.
So what do you think of this outfit? How about you? What is your cold weather OOTD?
