A TWO-WAY STREET

My week comprised of a lot of things that squeezing in an unplanned errand or activity is sometimes difficult, specifically when the traffic is too heavy to accomplish tasks right away. On the brighter side, when the luck is on my side everything ends on time and extra time becomes available, which I usually spend in gym or running in BGC; however, that just happens once in a blue moon that sometimes, I am not able to bring my workout clothes. Thus, on a day when my schedule was up in the air, I decided to sport the ensemble that I could wear while I am running some errands and that is appropriate for a night jogging.

Jogger pants are pretty not much of my identity, which is kind of ironic to think that I have more sneakers than heels. Nevertheless, I like the fit of these jogger pants as they are giving me enough comfort and convenience. Plus, they can be one of the wear-and-go bottoms that can be matched with any top. So pulling it off during my casual days definitely something I prefer most of the time considering that it can also be a way of not taking away comfort from style.

What I did is actually simple: picked the safest color for my top that also has the silhouette that could emphasize my figure and that suits to the silhouette of my pants; opted for the same shade for my sneakers; and then added some textures and prints through my jacket. Parallel with the other advises I gave before, silhouette, color, print and texture are the important keys. All these can give enough accent and style even with just adding one of them, but silhouette must always be present to any outfit you opt for because having poor silhouette is already equivalent to having poor quality and look.

In addition, with this kind of ensemble, there is nothing to worry about the unexpected rainfall in Manila.
