Summer has traveled way too far from the country that wearing colors and flowy apparels somehow being prohibited by the rainy weather, which means that your favorite hoodies and jackets finally have a plenty of time and chance to be worn, however, the thing about living in a tropical country, rainy weather stays for just a few days even if the season says a lot about drizzles and storms. As a result, even though you already said your goodbyes to your colorful wardrobe and hats, and you started restocking leather jackets and sophisticated blazers, you still have opportunities to pull off those bright hues, to shape a chic casual or formal ensemble and to take them for a walk under the sun.

So why say “Bye-bye!” when you can actually say, “See you later!” to your favorite fashion palette? But if you are still a bit hesitant to wear these colors because you think they only look good during summer season, then you might want to pull off something ethereal but still looks extra-attractive. What am I talking about? Well, I am actually speaking in behalf of pastels. LOL!
This cupcake and macaroon inspired color has a delicate way to spice up an ensemble especially when you just want to wear something minimalist –minimalist in the sense that pulling off a shirt matched with skirt or shorts is what you prefer wearing for the certain day. Pastels’ powdery shade has a mixed of feminine, innocent and romantic touch that can be combined with each other or can be paired with the neutral ones; there are two questions to bear in mind when putting up a cotton candy inspired look: do you like it with neutrals or do you wish to go color blocking? Considering these questions, the answer is not always in your hands but also depends on the occasion that you are going to. Yes, the combination of powder blue and pale lemon looks fresh and modish on the runway, but actually looks too much when worn on the street or in the mall –well it still depends on the composition. So you might want to think about pairing these sugary sweet pastel hues to your plain and neat neutrals, unless you want to look like a walking color palette all through the day.
Matching these sweet hues with neutrals like white, beige, gold and black is the great manner to calm them down. Beige and brown are the shades that will give balance to the ultra-feminine hue of pastels. On the different note, if you wish to build simplicity and to maintain the girly trait of the ensemble, white is the perfect color to pair –so since this was what I am aimed for, I shaped an outfit that comprised of powder blue and milky white colors.
I always believe that in putting up a feminine get up, combining soft lace fabrics together with neutrals and considering gold hues can definitely create a chic ensemble –to be honest, this is actually influenced by my love for girly and sweet looks. So in mixing these thoughts, I came up with this outfit!
It may only have ethereal composition and color, but it still has a stylish outcome. Also, the A-line skirt and the fit of the top enhanced my figure and created an illusion of longer legs, which are both good for petite girls like me. So are you ready to use your timing skills to spot the perfect sunny day and to wear your favorite pastel shades again? What do you think of this outfit?
