Petites are cute and there is no doubt about it. We can wear whatever we want, look younger than our age, and act like a high school student that even in bars and casinos, bringing an I.D. is a must – or else, we cannot enter. It is not actually difficult to dress up when you are petite, but as a petite, I can say and feel that “the struggle is real” when I want to appear taller in photos or even just from a far (without my boyfriend, Seph Cham, on my side). And yes, heels are the fastest way to add a few inches to your height, but TBH those shoes are not convenient. Thus, I came up with an outfit that petites can wear this summer and can make them look taller.
The cheat starts with your legs: anything that is high waist can make an illusion of longer legs. But this summer, try to give your high waist skinny pants a rest and try wearing wide leg pants or Palazzo pants as they are cozy and flattering on everyone. Plus, they highlight and minimize female form in all the right places, which exactly what petites need.
And by wearing wide leg or Palazzo pants, you can emphasize your figure by sporting fitted or cropped tops.
While for the shoes, because my pants have high slits I have decided to opt for gladiator sandals for accent. Nevertheless, if yours were not like mine, sandals and flats could complement the look.
