BLUE WATER DAY SPA

Summer is meant for free relaxing days at home, at the beach or in other country as its main reason is to have fun while getting that peace of mind that everyone deserves. And thankfully, I spent it the way I wanted by scheduling consecutive trips and taking a break from work. But as fun as it sounds, travelling for hours is really tiring. Thus, every time I arrive home and finish organizing my stuff, I make sure to head over to my favorite spa, Blue Water Day Spa.

To start with, of all the things I love about this spa, this theater room is my favorite place! Because for just Php 699, you get to watch and experience a foot reflexology and back massage! I love how this place feels so homey that I always fall asleep – also because the couch is so cozy!!

Going back, I always opt for the usual massages before, like the Swedish massage, but because my body was really exhausted and was hungry for some relaxing massage, I tried the Four Hand Balinese Massage as it was said to be similar to experiencing two full body massages at the same time!

Unlike the common massages, this massage is done with two therapists simultaneously perform the massage in sync using thumb and palm through long strokes and pressure points.

What I like about it is how the massage’s strokes hit the exact muscles that need to be relieved. Similar with the other massages that Blue Water Day Spa offers, Four Hand Massage can be rendered in soft, medium or hard strokes, so I requested medium strokes. The therapists used hypoallergenic warm oil, which made the massage more relaxing especially with the tranquil ambiance of the spa.

To sum it up, I love how Four Hand Massage gave me the total and balanced relaxation that I need. It indeed has the real definition of whole body massage or two full body massages at the same time. Also, even though I asked for medium strokes, the therapists were still careful and gentle that resulted to soothing massage and not the type that hurts.

On the other hand, for the ones who want to lessen the pain of their aching muscles, the Balinese Massage is the best choice! Basically, it is a deep tissue massage that came from Indonesian province of Bali and an exotic massage treatment that takes medicinal influences from India, China and South East Asia. I have not tried it yet as I think it will be better to experience it after gym because it is ideal for chronic muscle pain, improvement of posture, range of motion and can be used to improve athletic performance.
