Apart from the love of most girls to sneakers, I noticed their refusal in wearing boots as part of their casual wear – it is maybe because wearing boots in malls looks somehow parallel in sporting heels: it looks too much for just a casual ensemble. Nonetheless, if you would just think about it, boots are not that as “too much” as you think; because just like those sneakers, they too look great with jeans and plain shirts – the only difference is, with boots, your outfit looks chicer.
To be honest, before, boots were not the type of shoes that I would wear not because I do not want to but because of my height. Yes, petites have limitations with this kind of shoes, but as I learn the proper and right way to style myself while considering my height, I found out that whatever happens, ankle and mid-calf boots always look perfect for petites – because they do not make the legs appear shorter but they give illusion of having longer legs.
Aside from leggings and jeans, dresses and boots make a stunning combination, particularly dresses above the knees. So white laced dress with sweetheart neckline was what I sported together with a black printed blazer to add accent.
On the other hand, when I am not opting for a clutch as my bag and accessory at the same time, this necklace from Imono is my favorite to wear because of its simplicity yet boldness charm.
Are you ready to consider boots as part of your wardrobe staple? Start with ankle boots and then experiment!
