If there is one thing that is worthy of the word “versatile”, I guess it is the button down shirt. Why? Well, for starters, you can wear it as a top or as a cover-up. On the other hand, if you are like me who loves experimenting, you can turn your button down shirt into a skirt – I know this is not a new thing, which is why I am not doing this to do a how-to article, but a reminder of how useful it is!
You may all be thinking, “Why do that when you can just wear your skirts in your wardrobe?” It is because the truth is, you do not own every shade or color you need specifically when there is a color code that you have to follow for a certain occasion. So in one of my events at Pinto Art Museum, which required us to sport a white and blue outfit, I donned my white ruffle top, and did all the magic using my button down shirt for my skirt, as I do not have light blue skirts in my wardrobe.
