It is rare for me to have a keen interest in perfumes, particularly that I am a bit picky on smell and I have skin asthma to prevent from reacting. For this reason, whenever I buy new scents before, it always ended up sitting idly on my vanity dresser for a year and will eventually have to give to my relatives as it might get expired, but my boyfriend, Seph, is the exact opposite of me. It seems that wearing perfume before heading out is part of his daily routine, which made me realize to just buy a fragrance that we could both use. As a result, I learned about Calvin Klein’s new gender-free scent, ck2.
Ck2 is a dual-faceted scent and a signature fragrance for an urban, alternative, new freshness. Its fragrance opens with an unexpected spice of wasabi flavor deepened by an underlying note of magnetic, creamy warmth that came from jasmine enhanced by the scent of vetiver and blends with the creamy fieriness of sandalwood and sensual musks, which resulted to a fruity sweet, minty scent.
What I like about it is its sweetness is not too much, which made it smell fresh together with the minty flavor of wasabi. Thus, it is not the type scent that I will eventually get tired of wearing, but the fragrance that I will definitely enjoy sporting and could be the only scent that I will use in the long run.
