When hitting the road, it is a must to put up an ensemble that will give you a complete ease and relaxation to move and walk around places; because aside from the idea of having distractions on a day that is full of fun and games, flexibility and comfort are the outfit scopes that you should consider for being on the go. On the other hand, including style in the picture is of course a good idea as long as sacrificing comfort over style is not part of the deal. So thinking about the two go-to outfit scopes and the style of the ensemble, here is my look suggestion.
On Trice Nagusara: Top Cotton On | Cardigan Forever 21 | Skirt Primadonna | Hat SM Accessories | Rastaclat RegainPH | Sneakers Keds
The coziness of the clothes cannot be only found with basics. With tons of choices, the secret in achieving the comfort that you wanted is with the cut and fit of the apparels. Long sleeve top, skirt, cardigan and sneakers were what my ensemble consisted of. Considering the cold weather that Baguio has, on the day I wore this, I have decided to come up with a toasty outfit that was comfy yet enough to keep me warm, which was why I matched my long sleeve top with my cardigan.
As you observe, the modesty of the composition of my ensemble made it an easy going look that just became attractive because of its colors and prints; because instead of wearing plain and choosing only the muted shades, I opted to pull off a balanced combination of bright and neutral hues. To know which or what color is the perfect match of the top or skirt, what I did was to see first the hues that my top has. As a result, since the stripes of my top was color blue, I sported a blue skirt then matched it with the vibrant color of yellow to make my ensemble look perky.
So to polish my comfy get up, I wore my baby pink Keds sneakers then sported a fuchsia hat – which has a matching shade with my shoes – for a zippier and fun look! Remember that when doing color blocking, make sure to use only a maximum of three colors to prevent having a chaotic look.
When dealing with an easy outfit, accessorizing is not much being recommended because of the hassle of moving with something tangling around your neck or wrist. However, if you still want to have something to accentuate your ensemble, even just a little, Rastaclat is what I suggest. Rastaclat is a braided shoelace bracelet that is not trouble to wear, plus it has stunning colors that you would definitely want to pair with basic shades or even with the vibrant ones – especially when you are wearing your favorite sneaks.
So if you finally realize that your silver or gold accessories are not the perfect partners of your comfy outfit, then check out @RegainPH on Instagram for authentic Rastaclats.
How about you? How are you going to shape a comfort with style ensemble? 🙂
