Regardless of how ironic it may sound, I am the type of girl who chooses bright colors over neutrals, the one that sports floral prints even when summer is over and the girl who always wears the most feminine ensemble among the crowd, but wearing heels really does not count. Yes, that is me, the petite girl who prefers to embrace being small than just letting my feet shout for pain with 4 inch heels underneath; the one who has a huge fetish on any girly and cute clothing and stuff, but when it comes to shoes, I prefer a pair that looks a bit boyish or to cut to the chase, I love sneakers!
Of course, I still wear heels occasionally but never whole day. Thus, folded flats are always in my bag to save my feet from twinge, but on the days when I opt for comfort, sneakers are becoming my other half; even when I am in my girliest outfit, sneakers simply complete my style.
Since the day when Taylor Swift flaunted her dress with her own pair of Keds sneakers, girls just cannot help but to head over heels with the way she carries the ensemble. Hence, this style became more popular, especially with Keds; because these sneakers frankly can match with any kinds of dress you have in your wardrobe.
And so, when I sported this bright floral dress two weeks ago at the Bloggers United 9, I donned my new pair of vintage Keds that is inspired by the looks of a baseball. Yeah floral prints and baseballs do not sound quite parallel, but the feminine looks of the dress actually gave different twist and life to the sporty look of the shoes.
Seph actually has a same pair like mine! Can you guess how he styled it? I will do a separate blog post for our couple OOTD soon!! For now, what do you think of my outfit?
