Casual days do not just entertain casual outfits but also the elegant ones – but of course, just the subtle ones; because girls will forever be girls: “Today I want to look gorgeous, sophisticated, classy but simple!” Sounds so complicated? You know girls, but sure we know what we really want. So when this attitude hit me, I thought of wearing a fine black dress and a pair of black gladiator sandals.
The overall look is just a bit courtly, which is why it still befits my casual day. The dress has pretty lace accents that are going well with its chiffon fabric. Of course, the dress’ color has a huge impact in terms of the classiness of the look, which is doubtlessly the work of black – any black dress looks smart and refined!
On the other hand, the gladiator sandals add a touch of boho chic that goes well with the vibe of the dress; just to keep its impact minimal I opted not to tie it as high as my knees and only a few inches above my feet. In that manner, I prevented to look smaller by showing some of my skin on my legs knowing that the length of the dress is almost knee level.
As a result, everything looks stately and classy even with a pair of sandals and not heels – just the way I wanted: very stylish but still cozy.
