Every time I put up an ensemble, chiefly a casual get-up, considering the weather gives a huge impact to the outcome. Of course, nobody wears layers of clothes on a sunny day, and no one sports tank tops on a rainy day, but the question is, what components to opt for when the weather just cannot decide which one to set on default on a particular day? Which clothes to wear when you just cannot predict which one of the two will choose to occur?
Isn’t upsetting when the day that you thought a perfect sunny day just suddenly turned out to be a rainy afternoon? And because you assumed that it would be a sunny day, you sported your favorite pair of flats and maxi skirt – what a wonderful day to go for a walk, yah right. Unfortunately, I commonly experienced such situation before and I guess that was one of those days when I got no choice but to smile and face the fact that I am not waterproof, either my clothes or shoes. Thus, I learned to cherry-pick the right components when the weather is bipolar enough for me to be fashionably geared-up.
Stretch or fitted dress, cardigan, cap and sneakers were the components I wore; they are not waterproof, but they are one of the safest clothes, accessory and shoes to sport on a day when both climates are about to occur. The ensemble does not look too rainy day or too sunny day outfit, but it is cozy and feasible on both weathers. Also, the dress is flexible to wear on whatever itinerary you have for the day: for meetings, pull off a blazer and a pair of heels, and then pull down your hair or opt for ponytails.
Sanuk has added fresh and new designs in its latest collection. Coming out of its shell, Sanuk has now fun and cheerful colors, and more flexible styles – one of these is this pastel pair that I am wearing. This pair has more feminine touch compared with the usual Sidewalk Surfers style, plus it comes with cute colors and prints! Of course, just like Sanuk’s first designs, each new style remains to be comfortable and chic! Check them out at http://www.sanuk.com.
So are you ready to face the bipolar weather of Manila? Is this outfit a yay or nay?
