HOW TO STYLE SLIDES WITHOUT LOOKING TOO CASUAL

If your lazy days are about wearing shirt and a pair of shorts, mine is donning slippers… at the event.

But this is not something you will see me wearing in events because usually heels, flats and sneakers are what I wear, rarely slides. Nevertheless, I managed to sport a pair of blue slides in one of my events, as I was too lazy to wear any closed shoes – I thought of mules but when I wore them, they felt heavy and I just dragged them while walking as if they were that weighty – in short, I was not comfortable and not in the mood to wear mules, thus, slides.

Trice Nagusara La PetiteMy event that day was just a chill backyard party, so I decided to put on a dress. To balance the look and prevent it from looking like I was just going to run some errands, I opted for a smart casual off shoulder dress that has flare sleeves and has a perfect shade of blue to match with my slides. While for my accessory, I only wore my yellow tassel earrings for accent.

Trice Nagusara La PetiteOn the other hand, for the ones who do not want to sport a dress and want to level up their look with a pair of pants and top, consider wearing tops with dramatic sleeves to make your ensemble trendier and less casual.
