HOW TO WEAR BIG PRINTS IF YOU ARE PETITE

Chic ensembles are meant to be noticeable, BUT not the kind of oh-my-god-what-kind-of-outfit-is-that; because even though you want to stand out, for sure, you do not want to be the clown among the crowd. So one of the best ways to be prominent, in a good manner, is by donning big prints.

Yes, you might have read that if you are a petite, any print larger than your fist could overwhelm your body, but for me, that is considerable when balance is not in your vocabulary. Thus, when I sported this skirt with whopping floral prints, these things are what I considered:

Firstly, are the prints look overcrowded in one clothing? Remember to cherry-pick only the prints with enough space in between – the prints are already large in size so better opt for the ones that are not overcrowded. Also, choose the ones with neutral shades to avert wearing too loud component.

Secondly, match it with muted shades that could be plain, with textures or have few details to give big prints proper balance. On the other hand, print on print could also be done, just make sure to only pair dainty prints to prevent wearing too much.

And lastly, stick to matching one color to prevent having so much going on in one outfit.

So even if you are petite, feel free to sport large prints and do not be afraid to mix and match anything without failing to follow those dos and don’ts that I mentioned.
