We all have a love for classics; black or white, the color brings elegance in everyone’s eyes. So, it is non-sense to feel guilty for having a B&W closet when you got some interesting fashion tricks, and when boring is not in your vocabulary.
I know I am the type who loves colors, prints and textures; I love neutrals, regardless. With this, one of my tricks in pulling off a monochromatic black or white outfit is to include my favorites: prints and textures.
Mixing different fabrics and textures works interestingly with monochrome dressing. This outfit per se: I wore polka dot prints, leather jacket, and suede boots – I know, I kind of overdid it with the big dots for both of my dress and bag, but I balanced it through the basic components and minimal textures.
Monochrome ensemble is wearing separates in one color or donning different shades of the same color. But for white that lacks any shade for contrast, it is okay to opt for a little presence of black sometimes. After all, rules are meant to be broken, right?
So, are you ready to rock your black and white closet?
