Events, meetings and photo shoots are what my weekdays mostly comprised of and I have nothing to complain about as I enjoy doing things I love; except for one, every day’s traffic are stressing me and wasting my time, which supposed to be for blogging. As a result, my goal of publishing new post at least every other day is becoming difficult and challenging. So on a week when consecutive events and meetings are filling up our schedule, Seph and I decided to find and stay in a hotel nearby, which led us to checking out JinJiang Inn Makati.
This was the first time that I experienced a staycation in this area and the idea of spending more time in bed and not in car while stuck in heavy traffic was something that pumped me up. Thus, we checked in for two nights!
First thing that I noticed is its location: it is just a two-minute walk to Greenbelt; a lot of restaurants and convenient stores are located just around the area – in fact, there is Choi Garden at the ground floor and a convenient store beside the hotel; cabs and jeeps are available; and it can be easily found if you are setting up a meeting. What is more, there are lots of nice places around the area where you can shoot your OOTDs!
Another good thing about JinJiang Inn Makati is its minimalist yet modern chic interior that gave a homey aura to every room of the hotel.
The look of each room is in sync except for the size. We stayed in a Executive Room/Business Suite B, which is surprisingly big and spacious! It comes with king bed, living area, mini bar, coffee table, private toilet and shower.
I like that our room’s bathroom has two sinks because I do not need to make room for Seph when I am using the sink and he needs to wash his hands or when we are brushing our teeth.
Other available rooms are the Presidential Room, Triple Room and Business Suite A. Each room has each room or suite has a hot and cold shower, 46” flat screen LED TV, minibar, safety deposit box and coffee/tea making facilities.
As mentioned, Choi Garden restaurant is available just at the ground level of the hotel. In all honesty, Chinese cuisine is the last thing I want to have because that is Seph’s all time favorite – meaning, that is what we eat almost every day! But Choi Garden served scrumptious dishes and not the typical Chinese food, so I really enjoyed our dinner – I super love the Salted Eggyolk Prawns!!!
JinJiang Inn also has another branch in Ortigas and both branches offer business center facilities, meeting rooms, daily housekeeping, airport shuttle service, 24-hour security and parking, and complimentary Wi-Fi both in public areas and in the rooms.
JinJiang Inn Makati is located at at A. Arnaiz Avenue, Makati City, while JinJiang Inn Ortigas is situated at San Miguel Avenue corner Lourdes Drive in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
