Rainy season may only limit my dressing up game but I take it as a challenge and see it as my way of shaping up and sporting layering ensembles – well just a layer of two because it is still not cold enough to go for three or more, unless I am only pulling off lightweight fabrics just like how I styled this outfit.
Neckline plays a very important role when layering stylishly; because one has to be different from the other yet should suit your face’s shape. V-neck, sweetheart, empire and Queen Anne necklines befit my round face, which was why I opted for this pink V-neck romper. On the contrary, crew neckline (known as round neckline) may be a bit tricky for my face’s shape, but because I do not have large bust, short neck and double chin, it worked somehow notably that my romper has V-neck neckline and has noticeable darker shade than my top.
Unlike summer, there is no rule when it comes to colors on a rainy season; in fact, the brighter the shade, the more fun it will be – it is a breath of fresh air to see colors on a gloomy weather. So I focused my outfit with pastel shade of pink matched with color white.
In addition, I donned a blazer instead of jacket to make my outfit look more elegant and appropriate for my events and meetings.
