Four months after my last visit, I finally had a chance to come back and say hello to the cutest nail spa and beauty lounge, Make Me Blush! It was really a breath of fresh air to see again its one of a kind and as cute as bug’s ear interior that for me, is already Make Me Blush’s trademark.
I remember the first time I tried Make Me Blush’s services. It was for the preparation of my graduation ceremony so what I availed were hair and make up, and manicure and pedicure. Before, the moment I came in to its salon, its cute interior was the first thing I noticed; as I returned after months, same reaction and same words were seen and heard from me –oh well the place is really cute right?
Everything was still as attractive and as feminine as before. Every tool and equipment that each staff was using is what every girl wants to have as her own personal stuff.
And if before, I only tried Make Me Blush’s ordinary nail polishes, this time I chose its gel polishes.
What I hate about wearing ordinary nail polishes is the fact that they get broken easily even I just had it done a few hours ago, hassle right? So preferring gel polishes was what I thought to be the great remedy –and I was right!
Before the service started, one of the staffs, ate Elise, asked me to dip my feet and my hands in a water tub to soften my nails and cuticles.
I soaked my feet and hands for few minutes then she begun removing my pre-existing nail polish on my toenails. After that, she trimmed and filed them, then gently cut away the excess cuticle skin. Afterwards, she smoothened out the top of my toenails using buffing pad.
While ate Elise was doing my toenails, I was choosing two colors for my toenails and fingernails.
Cuccio light blue and red gel polish colors were what I chose: light blue for my fingernails while red for my toenails.
After cleaning my nails, ate Elise applied Cuccio’s Veneer #1 Prep. She allowed my nails to air-dry, then applied #2 Fuse for adhesion. Afterwards, she put Cuccio’s #3 Base then let it dry in a UV nail lamp for two minutes.
After that, she applied the first coat of color then let it dry again in a UV nail lamp for two minutes.
She did the same procedure to the next color coating until she already achieved the shade that I want. The next thing she did was to apply #5 Top and cured it again for two minutes in a UV nail lamp.
The other staff (sorry I forgot her name hehe) did the same method to my fingernails; the only difference was my hands were massaged with lotion.
My fingernails and toenails were also wiped with Conditioning Cleanser to remove the sticky layer. After that, Orly Gel FX Cuticle Oil was also applied to moisturize and heal cuticle problems. And after almost two hours, my nails were finally done!
How was my overall experience? If I were to rate it, I will give a perfect 10! Why? Aside from its appealing interior, the staffs were really hospitable and thoughtful all throughout my stay. Also, unlike the other salons, I observed during my first and second visit that Make Me Blush was really generous in using or applying its products, and each staff was doing their responsibility well and done.
