Every time you pack your things for another summer getaway, what is the first thing that comes in your mind? Swimsuit? Sunblock? Sunnies? Well how about slippers? These 4 must S’s, as I called it, are always the first ones that I pack because of course, I am heading to the beach and pants are not the ones that I am planning to wear while walking around the shore. Speaking of which, I prefer roaming around wearing a pair that I am comfortable and confident that will not trip me, durable enough to handle the pressure of sand and water, and a chic pair that I can easily match with my swimmies!
Good thing, Make Your Own Havaianas has again opened its doors for everyone, like me, who wants to mix and match different colors of Havaianas’ straps and soles. And even though it is already my third time, I still got excited to make my own pair last April 21 at SM Mega Fashion Hall!
My original plan was to make a colorful pair with orange strap and yellow sole, however, because I do not have any official MYOH’s printed sole ever since, I decided to opt for this year’s indigo shibori print and match it with pink strap!
Every year, Havaianas makes sure to surprise its customers with cheery MYOH theme. And this year’s Japan theme was indeed my favorite!
Part of the theme were these cute Japan inspired pins!
Seph chose a commemorative pair too but with bronze strap!
So what do you think of this year’s Make Your Own Havaianas? What pair did you get?
