Look fun and sweet by wearing soft yet pretty hues of pastel. They might look too feminine, but it will never fail to give you a stylish look even with just a plain pastel shirt. For some, pastels are complicated when it comes to finding the best color to combine with it. However, with proper balance and limitation, pastels can be worn as easy as your favorite muted colors.
On Trice Nagusara: Dress from Tomato, Belt from SM Accessories and Flats from SM Parisian
Pastels somehow replace the attractive colors of bright hues; because unlike them, pastels can be paired easily with another pastel shade. However, always remember that wearing two to three pastel colors is already enough. That’s why, since this dress from Tomato has two hues of pastel, blue and coral, I’ve decided to wear a belt that has the same color with my dress’ collar to prevent contrasting and to emphasize each pastel hue as well.
Moreover, if pairing pastel with another pastel hue may be too tricky for you, here are my suggested combinations: yellow and orange, yellow and green, orange and blue, pink and green, blue and pink. On the other hand, if you want to match it with muted colors especially with black, always remember to aim for balance. So that, instead of overpowering the pastel hues, make use of the dark colors to enhance it and make it look livelier.
This pair from Parisian has given enough style to my outfit through its classy and modest appearance.
