In everything she has done for you, big or small, sometimes we forget to say thank you and to make her feel how much we love her and how much we appreciate all the things she did for us since we were born. So on her special day, Mother’s Day, it is now time for us to make time to give back, to say thank you and to show how big the love we have for her. Gladly, Ayala Mall helped me to find the perfect way to show how happy and thankful I am for being her beloved daughter last Sunday, at the Trinoma Mall.
We went booth hopping in the stalls at the second floor of the mall where there were booths for accessories, soaps and kitchenwares.
My mom and I bought some lucky charms at the DTGM booth. I was amazed that after buying, we were asked to make a wish while the bracelet was in a bronze mortar then after that, the lady pounded on the rim of the bowl containing the bracelet and then performed a circling motion until the mortar makes a hollow sound.
Then we went to the photo booth, which Ayala prepared for everyone particularly for moms that they could enjoy for FREE!
We all had hair treatment and my mom and Aisa’s had a haircut.
After an hour, our moms both look stunning with their new haircut!
And then after that, we had our snack at the Red Mango. We had a small chitchat about our careers and a bit of our personal life. And as usual, Pax (Aisa Ipac) made us all laugh! She is really fun to be with!
During that day, aside from spending time with my mom through pampering and shopping, I learned many things about being a mom when we attended the Project Mom book signing: from the struggles of being pregnant to giving birth to growing a child. It was when I understood more how hard it is to become a mom and that the responsibility is lifetime.
The Project Mom book written by Bianca Aranete-Elizalde and Amanda Griffin-Jacob contains everything a mom needs: from food to pregnancy to traveling precautions, the book got you covered! There is also a directory of the doctors, restaurants, retail stores, etc. that every mother or future mother needs or will need.
The Project Mom book is now available in any book store nationwide!
