OVER THE TOP

Whether you are thin, chubby, tall or small, you got no difficulties in wearing and in choosing the perfect match for dark colors particularly, black; because if there is one best color that knows well enough strategy and skills in enhancing and revealing the natural beauty of a person, black is not just the best but the perfect one. For being the popular color not just for elegance, but also for its ability to create shape and length illusions for any body figures, black becomes the fashion buddy and rescuer of everyone. And if you thought that black could only do its magic for those who are insecure about their weight and has nothing to do with petites, maybe, you have to think again!

Just like what I always say, petites should never forget to wear apparels that have a capability to give emphasis to their curves and legs. However, if long and slender legs are also something you lack, there are plenty of tricks that will surely not disappoint you in creating an illusion for lanky legs that can also make you look taller; one of these tricks is wearing a monochromatic outfit. Commonly, black comprises a monochromatic ensemble (or a get-up that involves only one color), which has a lot of benefits even for petites.

Aside from wearing pants or leggings with vertical stripes, applying a monochrome styling with stockings or tights matched with boots or plumps, can already make your legs look longer. With the perfect choice of dark color to wear, an illusion of lanky and slender legs can already shape. Additionally, wearing an entire outfit in one color creates an even more streamlined appearance that extends past your legs, but make sure to choose apparels that correspond to your body shape to prevent those curves from hiding. Similar with what I wore, I picked to wear this black bandage skirt from Terranova to give accent on the curve of my waist.
