I’ve got to say, pastel pink never fails to get a lot of oohs and aahs from girls plainly because of its cuteness and its soft hue that is easier to play around with bright colors without being too evident to the crowd. Some, even me sometimes, choose to wear it with light, plain shades leaving it clean and basic. On the contrary, even though any pastel hue looks great with white/black, giving it a bit of twist makes it look fresh and chicer – starting with prints.
Fashion these days is clearly more about versatility notably when summer is about to end. But whatever the season is, pastel hues do not get any deadline for being stylish and manage to adapt whatever trend is on top on the fashion chain especially when rose quartz is one of the colors of the year, 2016.
In line with this, whether it is pastel pink or rose quartz, both look fashionable with prints even the ones that comprised of neutrals. It balances one’s style by toning down the print through light hues while accentuating the pastel shade with prints or can also be with textures. Just remember: big prints look lovely with plains while dainty prints are great when shaping a print on print ensemble.
On the other hand, to prevent having too many colors in one outfit, I just sported few shades darker than pastel pink and opted for white espadrilles from SM Parisian that matched the hue of my printed crop top. Plus, like what I said, white looks good with pastels.
