In this fast paced life, sometimes, having meals is just a grab and go thing particularly when we are at work; because no matter how much we love lunch breaks, there are days when piles of work simply forbid it. Even me, experience the same thing almost everyday – Yep, I am a freelancer but that does not mean I have a lot of time for ordering, waiting and eating without multitasking. So there goes my to-go sandwich and my unfinished meal or me using my phone while having lunch, but no, I am not complaining and I am really thankful for what I have right now. Going back, considering my busy schedule, I get excited whenever I see a food truck passing by the area – literally like a kid sees an ice cream truck – because this time, I will have a different dish for my lunch and I no longer need to wait too long just to get my order! One of these food trucks is the Joy Ride! by NutriAsia that I spotted at Luneta during my shoot!
I tried the Pinoy Chicken Slider that is served with pan de sal and the Siga Bagnet Wrap, which is prepared using Mang Tomas Siga, a spicy version of the regular Mang Tomas sauce. It also has Datu Puti vinegar and cucumber to give it a kick. There is also a Skinny Chix: a street food made crunchier and more flavorful by using NutriAsia’s recently launched Golden Fiesta Big Crunch Fry and Shake; it is a breading mix in smoked barbeque, cheese, and sour cream variants.
Everything is freshly prepared and cooked in the truck to assure the freshness of the food.
The best part is, the foods are all affordable with the price range of Php 40 to Php 80.
Additionally, refreshing beverages are also available such as mangosteen, guyabano, kamias, dalandan and kalamansi!
Watch for the Joy Ride! by NutriAsia, which already started rolling out in Metro Manila, serving people at food parks, employees of business process outsourcing (BPO) companies, and customers at bazaars, events, and universities.
