I know what is running in your mind, “Wow! This is a new thing for Trice” or “Not the usual outfit post of Trice”, yeah right! Do not worry that is a normal reaction because actually that was the exact thing that my eyes and my mind were telling me the moment I looked in the mirror on the day I wore this outfit. Nonetheless, even though this is a breathe of fresh air for me and for my style still, everything fits the bill.
First rule in fashion, always find the exit to your comfort zone because everyday is a chance to experiment and to do mixing and matching. Hence, there is no reason to get stuck in one style for donkey’s years. I know, this is you, your style and identity that we are talking about, but bear in mind that it is refreshing to have a new and different look once in a while, so better cut your usual style off and open some doors for latest trends and styles; changes are not that scary at all, in fact, they are fun and good thing to practice!
Thus, considering those words and advices, I came up with an outfit that has simple and basic component but has added touch of femininity through my heels and bag. And to really emphasize the difference or uniqueness of this outfit from the other ensembles that I wore or posted, I sported these popular boyish jeans known as the boyfriend jeans.
Boyfriend jeans are the hardest to find jeans for petites because of the size and fit – believe me, I have gone to different stores in SM Megamall for two to three hours just to find a pair that has my size and has a fit that will not make me look smaller. So, after few hours I ended up buying these boyfriend jeans in Mango. Compared with the other brands, this pair is more expensive but it got the perfect fit that I wanted: it has a cut that is not too loose and not too wide to avoid looking smaller that as if the jeans are eating me – and dearest petite girls, please take note of these because these are also the requirements in looking the right boyfriend jeans for petites!
On the different note, styling these come back from the dead jeans is easy and effortless; because when normcore popped in the list of trend, to look fashionable became so facile even with just shirt and boyfriend jeans.
However, if you think that too much basic or casual outfit might not be that proper to where you are heading, then, grab a pair of heels and leather bag to add fineness to your ensemble. White heels are for me, the sophisticated pair to match with boyfriend jeans because of the elegant twist that they give no matter how basic your top is.
So are you ready to rock those boyfriend jeans of yours? What do you think of this outfit?
