In a tropical country like Philippines, limitations in fashion and styling are formed naturally. And since the two moods of our climate somehow restrict us –especially during sunny days –to wear our layering apparels for a more chic ensemble, it became a challenge for us to remain fashionable even under the sun. That is why we must take in mind that there are a lot of ways to look stylish even without the magic of layering.
What I’m wearing: Forever 21
A simple blend of black skater skirt and an appealing print of corset, plus a high-cut pair of sneakers can already produce a trendy look. And to make it different from the ordinary, I added these black tights from Forever 21. The good thing with these tights is: its fabric is cozy and thin enough to wear even during sunny days.
On the other hand, if you want to have a discreet and simple look, you may also try to wear cropped tops and matched it with black pants or leggings. In that way, it can already be your get-up even when you are in school.

Known for their iconic and high-quality eyewear and accessories, an Italian lifestyle brand, Police, celebrated its 30 years of fashionable lifestyle accessories. Together with the launch of their new brand ambassadors, Police proved its ability to transform an individual’s look through their eyewear by enhancing one’s look from simple to a unique and fashionable style.
Since the inception of Police in the early 1980’s, the brand has introduced iconic styles that crossed borders and represented generations. One of these styles, introduced in the late 1980’s, was the double profile glasses, a one of a kind design with a square and classical shape which embellished the frontal part of the face.
Will Devaughn, Roxanne Barcelo and top male fashion blogger David Guison were tapped to be the new faces of Police.
