Thing is, the moment brand’s summer collection released, we start to buy clothes for our beach trips. Hence, every summer what we got in our wardrobe are mostly swimsuits, halter-tops, summer dresses and shirts. We are all prepared for any beach-related happenings, but there is one problem: how about our office/meeting attire?
Some might buy another set of clothes for this, but me, I prefer maximizing what I have particularly when I already shopped. So for my early meeting last week, here is what I came up: I sported my white printed light cotton long sleeves as my inner top, I matched it with my pastel blue spaghetti strap summer dress, and then I complemented it with my white mule heel sandals.
I know how hot summer’s heat is and layering is something others cannot resist to do most especially those who take public transportation on their way to and from work. On the contrary, if you can and want to, these fabrics are what you should take note: cotton, chambray, rayon, linen, georgette and silk. These mentioned fabrics are the ones that are lightweight and airy or breathable, which make them perfect for summer outfits!
So going back, for this ensemble, prints are my accent and my pastel blue dress served as the highlight of this look. And because this get-up looks a bit casual, I donned my white mule heels for a touch of primness. While if you are wondering what color of bag to pair with this outfit, I suggest you to go for vibrant shades such as yellow or orange – but if you wanted to keep the look plain vanilla, then just stick with color white. What is more, this outfit also looks stylish with sneakers, which what I changed to after my meeting.
