What is the worst weather to dress up? I say, the hot and wet weather, which is more likely to occur this rainy season on a tropical country like the Philippines. Why? Because you have to consider both climates without failing to feel and look uncomfortable no matter how sticky the humid causes you. Hence, whenever that happens these are the things that I consider:
1. Don only lightweight fabrics such as cotton and linen to keep you cool.
2. Forget about silk and denim for a while.
…just bring your denim jacket with you in case you need it in the office.
3. Better NOT sport clothes that fall below the knees as they tend to get wet easily unless under a head-to-toe raincoat.
4. Opt for water-resistant shoes such as this pair from Faux Pas Paris. If not, you can choose to wear a pair of sneakers as there are a lot of water-resistant pairs available in the market – check out the brand, People!
With all this, hopefully, you are now fashionably prepared for a day of rain and sweat!
